Wound care is fast expanding in the ASEAN region. Every year, the number of non- communicable diseases or chronic illnesses that usually accompany wound incidents rises. Furthermore, specialists face new obstacles in treating wounds and other related issues daily. For example, the Covid-19 epidemic taught us to think creatively to provide effective and innovative health care delivery because COVID-19 affects many aspects of our lives. We did, however, pass it thanks to our hard effort and eagerness to learn. It is a reminder that health practitioners must constantly enrich their knowledge and skills in delivering quality wound management relevant to current evidence to be prepared for any obstacles. I hope that ASEAN wound summit 2022 will become a reservoir for many professionals to exchange ideas and improve their understanding of innovative wound management in the future.
